Merry Christmas

It is hard to see Connor under the tissue paper, but I promise that is him. His favorite present was the paper!

Right now Connor is thinking...I wish I already had that crawling thing down!

This is just a little video for all of you from us to say "Merry Christmas!"

Cousins are Great!

We are visiting family in Houston, and it is good to see everybody again. The best part...babysitting is free when grandparents do it!
My parents kept all of the kids so D.K., Colette, Brian, and I could go out to eat last weekend. Camryn was a BIG help...

Brady usually doesn't want much to do with Connor. My siser is going to have a baby in December, and Brady is just not very happy about babies in general right now. I kept Brady for her yesterday so she could go to the doctor. He was actually really good with Connor. He even helped give him his bottle. However, neither one of them could tear their eyes away from the tv for even a moment! They will surely grow up to make the other members of their gender very proud.

Sitting Up

Connor is learning how to sit up. He loves this Bumbo chair that we borrowed from a friend. (D.K. and I can't wait to set it on the counter top and leave him unattended! We will be sure to sue the makers of Bumbo if he falls and hurts himself.) He really likes when he can see the t.v.

The Latest News

I can hold my head up really well now!

It was very cold on the way to school last Thursday. Don't I look so precious in my beanie!

Today I am 4 months old. I got to have carrots for the first time, and they are great. I love the exersaucer even though I can't really sit up that well in it yet. I had to get shots today (very traumatic) and the doctor is very happy with how I am doing. I weigh on 11 lbs 5 oz (still in the 3rd percentile) but I am still growing!

Cutest Tiger Ever

Connor is absolutely the cutest tiger ever. I know the picture in the pumpkins looks dangerous (Nana) but I promise you everything was okay. I had friends holding the pumpkins!

Pumpkin Patch

These pictures were taken when we had a pumpkin patch at school...You can tell he wasn't very happy!

3 months old

These are pictures taken on Connor's 3 month birthday. We "got to" go to the doctor on the 5th because my poor angel was giving my presents from both end. He weighed 10 lbs 4 oz. He is still really long, so he still doesn't look very chunky yet.

For those of you who say that he doesn't spit up very much...we thought you might need a little proof! Also in the picture is one of his new best friends. He has just started reaching for the birds on his playmat, but he hasn't really figured out how to use his hands yet.

Almost 3 Months!

We went to the state fair, and as you can see...Connor was really amazed by everything! He slept through the entire day.

We finally moved Connor to his own room last weekend. It amazes me how small he looks in his crib.

Up to this point Connor's smile has been like the Loch Ness Monster...everybody has heard us talk about it, but nobody has ever seen any proof that it really exists. This morning he was in a great mood! So, without further ado...here is the most beautiful smile in the world!

Growing Boy

I know that you have all been anxiously awaiting pictures, and I am finally sending them. It only took two months (give me a break, I'm a new mom!)

This is Connor getting his first suntan in the hospital. This was the day we took him home, so he was weighing in at a whopping 5 lb 1 oz.

Boy what a difference 6 weeks made. I don't have a new picture of him in a diaper, but I promise you that there are rolls on our precious baby now.

Bathtime use to be a stressfull experience for everyone...

Now baths go much more smoothly. He loves being in the warm water and gets upset when the bath is over because the air is cold when we transition to the towel.

We took this picture on August 5...his one month birthday. He was still a little thing, 5 lbs 13 oz.

This is on September 5...at two months he weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz. D.K. says it is from the baby creatine (rice cereal in his bottles to minimize the spit up). It is amazing how easy it is to gain weight when you can actually keep most of your meal down!

Connor was all decked out for his first tailgate party. Pay no attention to the lovely lady holding the adorable baby...she didn't know she was in the picture.

Tailgaitng is hard work. Connor didn't want to miss out on anything, but he eventually gave up and took a good long snooze!
